Welcome!

This is my first attempt at blogging, so bear with me. I'm a statehouse reporter for Illinois Public Radio, at WUIS Radio in Springfield. I've been meaning to put some of my reports out there for my friends and family to hear, but I'm also a procrastinator, so it's taken a few weeks to actually get to it.

Anyway, here's a sample of my work so far:
